Hi. I’m Greg. Welcome to my little blog. To be honest, it isn’t something I expect many people will read. Heck, it isn’t something I would be likely to read were it not about me. It is really more an exercise in introspection. In other words, I am really writing it for myself since it is cheaper than therapy. If you really want the whole story I cover it pretty well edge to edge in this post.

Oh. You’re still here. Well, then. So a little about me. I am, of course, Greg Mead. I am 40 years old as I write this. I have a wonderful wife, Christy, and three great kids: Rachel – 19, Courtney – 6 and Justin – 3. I am a network security engineer for a living and have been doing computer related work since before I was old enough to work. I enjoy flying little airplanes among other things to fill my spare time (ha!) but my real passion is photography. You can see some of my work here if you are so inclined. I also teach at a local photography school. Currently I am teaching Photoshop Elements because it is what I have time for.

I’m not really sure where this is going to go ultimately, but I have enjoyed writing the little I have thus far. I didn’t realize how out of practice I was at writing, nor how much I missed it. I am still working on finishing up the look of the blog as I use it so bear with me if you get some odd colors or layout glitches. As I have time I’ll dig in and fill this page out more thoroughly. In the mean time, thanks for taking the time to stop in. Hope you enjoy what you find.
